MISI, established amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in late 2021 and formally incorporated in 2022, represents a consortium of passionate individuals including young scientists, engineers, space industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and STEAM outreach program coordinators. The Initiative is committed to cultivating a vibrant ecosystem for the space industry in Morocco, blending high-quality scientific education with practical experiences to propel the nation’s foray into space exploration and technology.

ISLAMIC WORLD EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATION (ICESCO)

ICESCO is an international organization that promotes education, science, culture, and dialogue within the Islamic world and beyond. With 54 member states, ICESCO was established in 1982 and headquartered in Rabat, Morocco, it focuses on cooperation among member states and supporting sustainable development while advancing science and technology, promoting cultural diversity and heritage, and encouraging dialogue among different cultures.
